It's perplexing that Real Madrid, the world's largest and most historic football club, has yet to win a continental treble.

This is probably why the club is ready to make a splash for their players if they ever win the UCL.

Real Madrid survived Bayern Munich in the stoppage time of the second leg of their semis tie to advance to the finals and face another German giants in Borussia Dortmund.

Reports from Marca claimed each Real Madrid player will receive €1.4 million gross in bonuses, equivalent to $1.5 million.

The amount will also be almost double to what the Los Blancos gave their players for winning La Liga, UCL, and Super Copa during the 2021-2022 season.

The club can break the bank to reward its hardworking players after its income recovery and welcome new sponsors.

Treble technicalities

Real Madrid already won two this 2023-2024 season, and if they win the Champions League, they will have a chance to repeat what they achieved in 2017 and 2022.

While this is impressive, their treble is not the same as Barcelona's in 2009 and 2015.

Bayern Munich, which they had just eliminated, also won such a rare feat twice (2013 and 2020).

Real Madrid has already won three trophies in a season. The third one was the Supercopa, which is not part of the continental treble.

The continental treble includes the UEFA Champions League, the top-flight domestic league of each European nation, and the primary domestic cup.
