Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has experienced a meteoric rise to stardom this season, a trend that continues in the ongoing 2024 NBA Playoffs, where the Wolves have won their first six games.

Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young has certainly been monitoring Edwards' performances, as evidenced by an intriguing social media post he made in response to a Georgia fan account cheering for the shooting guard.

"Should've been a Hawk to start, but that's for another day..," replied the three-time NBA All-Star to a post stating, "The whole state of Georgia is rooting for Ant-Man to win it all."

The Timberwolves selected Edwards with the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Meanwhile, the Hawks were also a lottery team that year but ended up with the sixth overall pick, selecting big man Onyeka Okongwu.
