The Minnesota Timberwolves completed a sweep of the Phoenix Suns in the first round after winning Game 4, 122-116, on Sunday, April 28, at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was thrilled to lead his franchise to its first playoff series win in two decades. He secured his first career playoff series win against his all-time favorite player, Suns star Kevin Durant.

"I got the utmost respect for KD. He comes in and competes every night. I've watched every one of his games since I was five. I love that guy. I'm excited to play with him this summer [with Team USA], talk a little trash and let him know I sent him home," the 22-year-old told the Inside the NBA TNT crew during the post-game interview.

Edwards has stated numerous times in the past that Durant is indeed his favorite player of all time. They will be teammates this summer for Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

The game's most significant highlight might be something Edwards has dreamed of since childhood.
