The Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver corps is poised to remain elite for years to come.
The team has secured A.J. Brown with a three-year, $96 million extension, with $84 million guaranteed to make him the highest-paid wide-receiver in NFL history, as reported by league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The $84 million in guaranteed money and the $32 million average annual value of the extension are the highest figures in NFL history for a wide receiver.
This extension is being added onto his current contract with two years remaining, a four-year deal worth $100 million signed in 2022 and effective from 2023.
With three additional years on the new deal, the three-time Pro Bowl selection is set to stay in Philadelphia until the conclusion of the 2029 NFL season.

Brown's deal follows the Eagles' signing of fellow wide receiver DeVonta Smith to a three-year extension earlier this month.
The former Heisman Trophy winner inked a deal worth $75 million, with $51 million guaranteed, which will keep him in Philly until 2028.
Smith expressed his excitement on Brown's extension in a social media post.
Others have also reacted to both of their deals.
