Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson is one of the world's best women's basketball players today, and she is probably used to playing against elite competition.

However, the reigning WNBA Finals MVP offered insights into the dynamic when these formidable opponents become her teammates on the USA basketball squad for international contests.

"I go from you being my rival, absolutely can't stand you, to now it's like, 'Girl, let's go get this gold'... It's very hard to do that. But it also shows how elite the athletes are when you make it to that stage," the 27-year-old said at the Time100 Summit on Wednesday, April 24, in New York City.
