WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque recently opened up about his collaboration with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, following their storied rivalry in the past.

The two wrestling icons worked together in the build-up for WrestleMania 40, where The Rock took on the role of a villainous character, aligning himself with then-Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as part of The Bloodline stable.

"We were thrilled to have Rock being involved. When you can have the biggest star on the globe, arguably, want to be a part of what we do in a meaningful way and want to do it in a way where he's not just, 'Hey, I'll come in, tell me what to do, I'll do this'," Triple H said at the 2024 CAA World Congress of Sport.

Triple H also commended The Rock's dedication during his return to the WWE, highlighting his willingness to invest his resources, creativity, and branding into making their project an exceptional experience for fans.

"It was a blast to get back together and creatively do this together. I had a great time," the 54-year-old executive added.

Triple H and The Rock were heated rivals in the Attitude Era

During their primes in the Attitude Era, Triple H was arguably The Rock's second-most significant rival, trailing only behind his rivalry with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The two engaged in consistent battles over the Intercontinental Championship and later transitioned their rivalry to contending for the WWE Championship.

The Attitude Era, from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, marked a significant boom in WWE's popularity, producing several stars.
