Ferrari Driver Carlos Sainz Jr. Reveals Compelling Favorite F1 Track for the Whole Season

Scuderia Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr. has experienced a whirlwind year, grappling with the news of his final season with the team and overcoming appendicitis.

As he prepares for the upcoming Formula One Japanese Grand Prix race in Suzuka on Sunday, April 7, the 29-year-old dropped his favorite racetrack on the F1 calendar.

"I'd say it's my favorite track of the whole season. It's got everything and demands the most from the car as well as from the driver," Sainz said about the Suzuka International Circuit on Thursday, April 4.

Sainz is also eager to have his F1 future clarified sooner rather than later, especially considering he is currently without a team for next season due to the impending arrival of Lewis Hamilton to the Prancing Horse team.

"Talking to pretty much all of [the teams]. It's just a matter of going into more detail and seeing the more realistic options and what are the best options for me and my future," Sainz added.

Carlos Sainz Jr. is coming off a win

Despite some setbacks, the Spanish star emerged victorious in the latest Formula 1 race in Melbourne, Australia, on March 24.

Sainz is the sole racer, alongside Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, to have clinched an F1 race victory in the last two years.

Additionally, he secured a win at last year's Singapore Grand Prix, distinguishing himself as the only driver outside of Red Bull Racing to achieve victory throughout that season.
