Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis offered an intriguing perspective on his matchup against Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis ahead of their upcoming road game at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, scheduled for Wednesday, March 13.
Throughout his NBA career, Davis has yet to secure a victory against Sabonis in a regular season game, maintaining an 0-9 record against him.
However, the losing streak does not bother the NBA 75th Anniversary Team member much.
"It doesn't matter to me. I'm all about the team... the 1-on-1 thing, it doesn't bother me," the nine-time NBA All-Star said ahead of his 10th matchup with Sabonis.
Davis reiterated that it was more important for him to get a win to help the Lakers get a firm grip on the highly competitive Western Conference standings.

The Lakers and Kings last faced off exactly a week ago at the Crypto.com Arena, with the visitors coming away with a 130-120 win after the Lakers previously led by as much as 19.
Sabonis recorded a triple-double in that game, dropping 16 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists.
