Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET the New York Knicks (6-15) will try to avenge an embarrassing 41-point loss to the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden when they travel to Boston to square off with the Celtics (10-14) in NBA action that can be live streamed here. Knicks fans can hear the game on 98.7 ESPN New York, while Celtics fans may do the same on WEEI 93.7.

"What Boston came in here and did was an embarrassment," Carmelo Anthony said after last Sunday's cringe-worthy defeat. Anthony has struggled from the field this year, as have the Knicks, but on Wednesday they averted a nuclear meltdown against the undermanned Bulls to stop a two-game losing streak.

Anthony dropped 30 points on Chicago to go with 10 rebounds, and helped New York stave off the Bulls despite nearly blowing a 23-point lead. "From a mental standpoint, if this game would have got away from us, ain't no telling what would have happened," Anthony said.

Amar'e Stoudemire played a big role in Wednesday's key victory, giving New York 14 points and nine boards off the bench. His contributions could become essential with the starting backcourt of Raymond Felton and Iman Shumpert banged up. Felton's going to be out two to three weeks with a strained hamstring, while Shumpert is day-to-day and might be on the court tonight.

Boston is coming off two straight losses to the Nets and Clippers, but may get rookie center Kelly Olynyk back after a 10-game absence. Olynyk was averaging 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Celtics, and could take advantage of the Knicks' defensively challenged frontcourt.

The key player for the Knicks to stop will be forward Jeff Green, who leads the C's with 17.3 points per game. Green is Boston's primary option offensively, leading the team in field goal attempts per game (12.9) and is a threat from beyond the arc (41 percent).
