The debate on who rightfully deserves the game ball in the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers continues. There were milestones accomplished that night, and there have been varying takes on who deserved it.

On one end is the case of Giannis Antetokounmpo. After breaking the franchise record for most points scored in the game with 64 markers, there is no doubt that the game ball should have gone to the two-time NBA MVP.

In the eyes of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, Antetokounmpo deserved it and pointed out that it was played at the Bucks' home court via TMZ.

"By the letter of the law," Shaq said, "if you're playing at home, you should get the ball if something spectacular happens."

Mark Cuban has a different take

However, some felt that Oscar Tshiebwe should have gotten it instead. Billionaire businessman and Dallas Mavericks team owner Mark Cuban explains why the rookie should have gotten it.

"That's a big deal that only happens once," the 65-year-old executive said.

Why fret? There were two game balls

Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle deemed the whole game ball issue unfortunate. He shared how his general manager got hit in the ribs due to the fray when he spoke in the post-game via Bleacher Report.

"We don't need the official game ball. There are two game balls there. We could have taken the other one. It didn't need to escalate to that," Carlisle quipped.

For him, it could have been settled maturely. There were two game balls, and they could have paid for any of them.
