Like most other weeks in the NFL, the injury report always has us holding our breath well after the games.  And the aftermath of Week 14 is no different.  Unfortunately, this week does hold quite a few key injuries to keep an eye on.  Starting off with the most relevant and impactful one, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will be out the remainder of the season as reported yesterday.  He sustained a right index finger injury in the Week 14 Division matchup against the Denver Broncos.  After this week, it looks like Herbert will be joining the ever growing list of fellow starting quarterbacks to have suffered season ending injuries this year.

A quarterback who seems to have avoided a serious injury would be Houston Texans rookie sensation, CJ Stroud.  He scaringly lied on the ground late in the 4th quarter against the New York Jets but was later helped off the field.  Stroud suffered a concussion during the game and will be going through concussion protocol this week to determine whether he will be able to play this week or not.

Minnesota Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson catches everything thrown his way, but unfortunately this season he can't seem to catch a break injury wise.  After stressing the 21 day Injury reserve window to the last possible day, Jefferson was activated just before the Vikings bye week.  In his return, he hauls in a spectacular catch but is hit as he goes down and injures his chest.  The wideout was taken to the hospital and thankfully released a few hours later.  Jefferson is now questionable for next week's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
