Lousiana State University (LSU) Tigers star Angel Reese returned to the team after missing their last four games in a highly scrutinized saga due to unspecified "locker-room issues."

The 21-year-old returned to action in LSU's home game against the ninth-seeded Virginia Tech on Thursday, November 30.

"It doesn't matter. Angel is back and we are happy, happy, happy. We're past it. We were past it after it happened. It's just fun to watch them high-five and pick each other up off the floor and just do what they do, play basketball," LSU head coach Kim Mulkey said in a news conference on Wednesday, November 29.

As the junior forward made her return to the court, let's look at some of her best moments as a member of the LSU Tigers.

Earlier this year, Reese delivered an outstanding performance in an 89-51 win over Alabama, putting up 14 points and 14 rebounds, marking her 20th consecutive double-double and surpassing the record set by LSU women's basketball legend Sylvia Fowles.

This impressive feat contributed to LSU's 20th consecutive victory at the start of the season, culminating in an overall record of 34-2 by the end of the campaign. Reese ended the season with 34 double-doubles, which is an NCAA record.

3. Angel Reese mends beef with First Lady Jill Biden.

Reese had a notable misunderstanding with First Lady Jill Biden, after the President's wife suggested inviting the national championship runners up Iowa alongside them in the White House.

The LSU star took offense to this suggestion and expressed her decision not to participate, stating a preference to celebrate their championship victory with the Obamas.

However, Reese eventually joined her team in the White House, sharing a warm hug with Dr. Biden. Iowa did not join them in the celebration.

The Maryland native made a ridiculous highlight during a game against Arkansas last season. During the third quarter, Reese lost one of her shoes amid a play.

She attempted to use the defensive downtime to put her shoe back on. However, she abandoned this task when Arkansas guard Samara Spencer initiated a drive down the lane for a layup.

With her shoe in hand, Reese blocked Spencer at the basket, leaving the Razorback on the floor. Following the block, there was an exchange of words, resulting in Reese receiving a technical foul.

Reese's most memorable moment in an LSU jersey came during the 2023 NCAA national championship against Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

In the game's closing moments, with the outcome already determined, Reese executed a memorable taunt directed at Clark.

Approaching the Iowa star, Reese waved her open hand in front of her face, a gesture popularized by WWE star John Cena, which means "you can't see me."

Following this, she pointed to her ring finger, a gesture that some interpreted as a reference to the potential location of her recently acquired championship ring. The taunt received substantial media coverage and polarizing reactions.
