Jim Brown Blasts Kobe Bryant On Arsenio Hall Show As 'Confused About Culture' [VIDEO]

If NFL legend and longtime civil rights activist Jim Brown had his way, Kobe Bryant would not be invited to a modern-day summit of black athletes faced with the task of tackling the day's most pressing issues.

Appearing on an episode of the Arsenio Hall Show, Brown told the host "Kobe is somewhat confused about culture, 'cause he was brought up in another country, so it doesn't quite fit what's going on here in America."

As Exhibit A, Brown points to how Bryant infamously dimed out Shaquille O'Neal when he was facing a rape investigation in Colorado years ago by reportedly telling investigators O'Neal would make "situations like this" disappear in 2003 by paying women up to $1 million to keep quiet.

"He threw Shaq under the bus," Brown continued, before adding "in the days when we had a summit and we called the top black athletes together to talk to Muhammad Ali about his status with the armed forces, there were some athletes we didn't call. So if I had to call that summit all over, there would be some athletes I wouldn't call. And Kobe would be one of them."
