ONE Championship's Angela Lee shocked the world when she announced her retirement from mixed martial arts at ONE Fight Night 14 on September 30 after her sister, Victoria Lee's untimely death.

Based on the latest update for "Unstoppable," there is no change in her status. Angela Lee is retired, and that won't change any time soon.

Instead, the 27-year-old former ONE Championship 115-pound title holder will keep herself busy by devoting her time to providing mental health services to combat sports athletes, TMZ reported.

Lee launched her non-profit cause, Fight Story, in honor of her late sister, who died via suicide in December 2022, ESPN reported.

"I wouldn't say that I have fully recovered [from my sister's death] because healing processes take some time," Lee told us, "but I have gotten a lot better with the help and support of my husband, my daughter, and also with the non-profit organization I created in honor of her," Lee stated.

The Canadia-born American athlete also made a startling revelation, admitting that she also attempted to take her life in 2017 when she allegedly tried to crash her car on purpose.

MMA fighters also need mental health help

"Unstoppable" also explains the stress and pressure combat sports athletes face. She points out how mixed martial arts fighters do not get the same mental health resources as other sports.

"I wanna highlight this group of individuals because the fact is the topic of mental health or mental health support is pretty much nonexistent in the fight world," Lee quipped.
