Adrien Broner's chatter is already legendary, and now he has made one more bold claim leading up to his fight with Marcos "El Chino" Maidana. "Floyd took it to the next level. It's made me want to match what he's done or go past that."

Throughout the promotion for this fight, Broner has exuded nothing but the utmost confidence. In a recent interview with both fighters, Broner even copped to not watching film of the hard-punching Argentine.

"I don't watch tape. You know? I know he's a hell of a fighter. He's going to come to fight. He's not going to lie down unless I make him lay down, and I don't have no problem with laying nobody down. I have done some Ralphie's in my days."

Broner also hinted at a potentially defensive game plan, deriding Maidana's high knockout rate by claiming he floored opponents he was able to hit. "One more thing that people don't understand is the guys he knocked out he was able to hit. He's got to hit me first. He has to hit me first, and he's never been hit by me. We'll all see what happens December 14th."

Should Broner get past Maidana, a newly minted champion has also made it clear he would like a crack at solving "The Problem." Shawn Porter, who defeated Devon Alexander on Saturday, believes he has all the tools to hand Broner a loss.

"I feel that I would match up great against Broner," Porter claimed. "I think I showed it all against Alexander. I can go to the body, I can box you from the outside. I got it all. That was my first showcase fight of many, and I think the more people see me, the more they will see that I'm a force to be reckoned with."
