Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders conveyed a heartfelt message to broadcaster Skip Bayless during his appearance on the FS1 show Undisputed.
"Thank you, because you get heat oftentimes, but you've given a lot of us opportunities that people look past and they don't understand, they don't recognize," the 56-year-old mentor said to Bayless.
The former NFL cornerback highlighted the fiery sports host's role in launching or advancing the careers of numerous African-American journalists and former players.
"None of us are perfect, but you have given us, and y'all know darn well what I'm talking about, so many opportunities, man, and I appreciate you for that, boss," Sanders concluded.
The show concluded with an affectionate embrace between Bayless and Sanders, showing their mutual respect.
