Shedeur Sanders of the Colorado Buffaloes is a promising young football star who made a good account of himself in his team's upset win over the TCU Horned Frogs over the weekend.

The 21-year-old has a massive debut in that epic win, throwing 510 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, CBS Sports reported. The performance broke the school's record for passing yards, something that made him the talk of the town.

While many people who witnessed it are hailing the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, one name stood out when the younger Sanders informed reporters about the message he got from seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

"He texted me after the game: 'Don't be satisfied,'" Sanders said, according to a social media post by University of Colorado alumnus Ryan Koenigsberg. "It was cool hearing from him, knowing he's still watching and stuff like that."

The NFL prospect is associated with the five-time Super Bowl MVP because of his NIL deal with Brady's apparel company.

The Colorado play-caller shared Brady's message on Tuesday, September 5, not long after it was announced that the Buffaloes were hailed as the No. 22 team in the country, SI.com reported.

His father, Deion, shared that his son also got extra motivation from TCU offensive coordinator Kendal Brieles on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday, September 4.

"When we went to a camp of the offensive coordinator that we just played against he didn't pay Shedeur any attention..," the 56-year-old shared. "He remembered that and he wanted to beat that guy so bad that he just went to work on Saturday."

Shedeur Sanders will take the field anew on Saturday when the Buffaloes face the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
