Red Bull's Max Verstappen's dominance reached a new high on Sunday after he claimed a record-breaking tenth race win in a row at Monza in the 2023 Italian Grand Prix.

The recent success of the 25-year-old has prompted Red Bull to order a new trophy cabinet to accommodate the driver's multitude of hardware.

"I'm superstitious and I don't like empty cabinets. We've already ordered another cabinet and we've already filled it. So we'll deal with that at the end of the season," Red Bull team principal and CEO Christian Horner said.

The Dutchman has run over the world's premier racing series since winning a neck-and-neck title fight with Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton during the 2021 season, which went down to the final lap in Abu Dhabi.

Since winning his maiden title, Verstappen has now won 27 of the last 36 Formula 1 races en route to a successful title defense in 2022 while currently running away with his third straight championship this year.

Vettel urges Red Bull and Verstappen to go for more

Verstappen broke Sebastian Vettel's record of nine straight wins, set in 2013, while also in a Red Bull car.

The four-time champion was not jealous of the reigning world title holder breaking his feat, even urging his former team to push the winning streak even further so that it will remain in their hands forever, according to Red Bull Motorsport adviser Helmut Marko.

Verstappen previously became Red Bull's winningest driver earlier this year in Monaco, but Vettel remains the one with more titles.
