Kylian Mbappe is one of the few footballers whom clubs are willing to break their banks for.
With that said, will Liverpool join the race to sign the forward from PSG?
Manager Jurgen Klopp can only laugh at reports linking the World Cup winner to his club, as because of the financial aspects at play, he thinks the Reds can't afford Mbappe.
"We laugh about it," he told Sky Germany.
"I can say that I think he's a really good player, but the financial conditions don't suit us at all. I wouldn't like to ruin the story now, but as far as I know, there's nothing to it."

He jokingly said that Mbappe might be on their target signing without his knowledge.
"But it's possible that someone else from the club is preparing something and wants to surprise me, but that hasn't happened in the eight years that I've been here. That would be the first time."
Busy with changing of the guards in Anfield
Mbappe to Liverpool is not on the table. That's settled. Reports even claimed he would join Real Madrid, a far richer club than the Reds.
Right now, Klopp and the rest of the Reds are busy with the changes happening within the club.
Virgil van Dijk has been appointed the club's new captain after former captain and long-time Reds Jordan Henderson moved to Saudi to join Al Ettifaq.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be his vice-captain.
Klopp himself told Trent the news during a warm-up.
