Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe will receive the equivalent of the wealth of a small nation for one year of work if he accepts Al-Hilal's mouthwatering offer.

The Saudi Arabian club will be shelling out $1.1 billion for the services of the 24-year-old, with $332 million going to PSG as a transfer fee and $776 million to Mbappe's bank account as salary for the 2023-24 season.

After one year, Al-Hilal would allow Mbappe to make his dream Real Madrid move.

Despite the generational wealth waiting on the table, ESPN sources said Mbappe is not interested in the offer.

The Frenchman was already the highest-paid footballer in the world in 2022, making $128 million on-and-off the field, according to Forbes.

PSG will undoubtedly accept the world-record transfer fee, formally submitted by the Riyadh-based club, per journalist Fabrizio Romano. Mbappe would need to agree to personal terms for the move to commence.

The move will make Mbappe the world's most expensive player, surpassing Neymar's $262 million transfer fee to move to PSG from Barcelona in 2017.

There's a catch in the $776 million salary

Al-Hilal plans to offer a net salary of $221 million to Mbappe, while the reported $776 million figure could only be reached if commercial deals are included.

Discussions as of now are only between the two clubs, and no talks have been held yet between Al-Hilal and Mbappe.

Al-Hilal previously bid to acquire Lionel Messi last month, making a final offer of $1.6 billion for three years. The Argentine superstar ultimately chose to move to the United States with MLS club Inter Miami.
