Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks (20-5-4, 44 points) and Minnesota Wild (16-8-5, 37 points) go head-to-head live from the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota for the third of five meetings this season. Chicago is coming off of a loss that saw their six-game winning streak snapped following a seven-game road trip while Minnesota will play eight of their next 10 games away from home after tonight. The Wild beat the Blackhawks 5-3 on Oct. 26 in Chicago but then fell to them 5-1 at home two days later in the prior two meetings this season.

The Blackhawks fell to the Dallas Stars 4-3 at home Tuesday and will look to bounce back when they return to the road after going 6-1-0 on a seven-game road swing.

"It certainly wasn't a dud," coach Joel Quenneville said after the loss via NHL.com. "It was a dud to start, for me, but we got ourselves into the game and gave ourselves a chance to at least tie it and play a third period where anything could happen." 

After a strong November, the Wild ended the month sputtering with four straight losses and will look to get back into good positioning in the Western Conference.

The Wild have been led offensively by captain Zach Parise, who has 23 points off of 11 goals and 12 assists while Mikko Koivu also has 23 points off of six tallies and 17 helpers and Jason Pominville has found the twine 14 times and added five assists for 19 points.

Patrick Kane has paced the Blackhawks with 32 points off of 16 goals and 16 assists while Jonathan Toews (12 goals, 13 assists) and Duncan Keith (one goal, 24 assists) each have 25 points.

Chicago will try to solve Minnesota goalie Josh Harding, who is 14-4-3 with a 1.45 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage while Corey Crawford is 17-5-3 with a 2.43 GAA and a .909 save percentage between he pipes for Chicago.

The Blackhawks and Wild hit the ice against each other at Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota tonight.
