Impending free agent forward Draymond Green will make sure that Klay Thompson has his golf game on point, as both of his Warriors teammates Thompson and Stephen Curry, are set to appear on "The Match" on TNT, an exhibition golf series featuring prominent sports personalities. Green will provide commentary for the episode.
Green mentioned in an interview with PEOPLE that he has been checking up on Thompson's golf abilities to avoid disappointing Curry, who is an avid golfer outside of the basketball court.
"[I'm] making sure he really gets out there on the course and that his game is ready to go. Don't come out there and be a let-down for Steph because I know Steph's coming out serious as hell, and I would just hate to see Klay pull the team down," the 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year said.
The Warriors dynasty anchor knows that Curry has been practicing golf at least five times a week to prepare for the event, while he is unsure if Thompson is doing the same.

The latest episode of the exhibition golf series will be held on June 29, and it will see Curry and Thompson facing off against the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Both pairs are full of championship pedigrees, with Curry and Thompson winning four NBA championships for the past decade, while Mahomes and Kelce have won two Super Bowl rings for the past four seasons, including the latest one last February.
