San Antonio Spurs fans did not waste any time copping Victor Wembanyama merchandise after the 7-foot-4 wonderkid was selected by the franchise with the first overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft.

Spurs reporter RJ Marquez shared a video showing Spurs fans lining up to grab the first officially-licensed Wembanyama jersey from the Spurs team store at the AT&T Center during the draft watch party hosted by the team.

The team's G-League affiliate, the Austin Spurs, also posted a clip of the long line featuring ecstatic fans eagerly waiting to buy some Wemby gear in Austin.

Wembanyama had already given autographs on multiple custom Spurs jerseys bearing his name even before he was officially drafted. The 19-year-old even signed one while playing at the French professional league LNB Pro A for the Metropolitans 92.

Official NBA jerseys are manufactured by American companies Fanatics and Nike. Fanatics is tasked with making the cheapest "replica" jerseys with fewer details than usual.

On the other hand, Nike makes the most popular and more detailed mid-tier "Swingman" option for fans, as well as the official game-worn "Authentic" uniforms.
