Karl-Anthony Towns sat down with former teammate Patrick Beverley in his podcast, and the Wolves big man made a bold prediction on his impact on the game of basketball.
The 2015 NBA Draft 1st overall pick thinks that he has the potential to be someone that changes the sport after he retires.
"I feel like when my time's up and I retire and I put the shoes up, I feel like there's going to be people who are going to say that I changed the game," the 7-foot center said.
Towns added that there will be kids that will be able to play differently because of him.
Beverley called his guest the best shooting big ever to play the game and the best big man in the league.
Towns undoubtedly agreed with Beverley's opinion of him being the best shooting big ever. The eight-year veteran previously won the 2022 NBA Three-Point Shooting Contest, becoming the only center to do so.
