Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV the super-consistent San Antonio Spurs (15-3) off to a predictably good start this season will head to Mexico City to face the Timberwolves (9-10) who began the season howling, but have begun to whimper. Live stream the game here; Spurs fans can hear the game on 1200 WOAI, while Wolves fans can catch the radio broadcast on 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.

Tonight's game will take place in high altitude, which the Timberwolves have been preparing for according to head coach Rick Adelman. "We have to be very aware on probably getting guys in earlier than we normally would. We had a scrimmage to get ready for it. Our substitutions will be quicker."

The Wolves run and gun style may be better suited for this atmosphere, but the Wolves will need to contend with a rejuvenated Tim Duncan, in the midst of a dominant stretch of basketball. "I feel a lot healthier now," Duncan said. "For a while there, I was dealing with some stuff, but now my body is feeling good and I'm starting to get my legs underneath me."

In the last three Spurs games Duncan is hanging 20.7 points per game while connecting at a 63 percent clip from the field; in San Antonio's most recent win over Atlanta Duncan posted 23 points and 21 rebounds, becoming the oldest player in NBA history to accomplish that feat.

For Minnesota, the elevated defense they had played earlier in the year appears to have gone by the wayside. "We played tired and lost our confidence with what we're supposed to do," said Kevin Martin after a blown lead against the Oklahoma City Thunder. "We'll learn from that and move on."

They will also need Kevin Love to snap out of a recent funk, in which he's shot 34.3 percent from the field.
