George Zimmerman News: Double Capacity Pump Action Shotgun Among Weapons Recovered During November 18 Arrest [VIDEO]

A $1,200 pump-action high-tech, self-defense weapon with more than double the capacity of conventional shotguns was among the weapons police seized at the time of George Zimmerman's Nov. 18 arrest, according to a police search warrant.

The documents were obtained by the Orlando Sentinel and also note authorities found a KelTec 12-gauge shotgun, an assault rifle, a .380 caliber handgun, a 9 mm handgun and a Glock handgun in a black, soft-sided case secured by a combination lock. Deputies also found more than 100 rounds of ammunition, with the greatest quantity being 59 rounds for the rifle.

In a recent interview with Katie Couric, Zimmerman's estranged wife, Shellie, claimed her soon-to-be-ex husband, the man who infamously shot to death unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin in February of 2012, had become fascinated by handguns.

Girlfriend Samantha Scheibe told police on the day Zimmerman was arrested on domestic abuse charges that he pointed a shotgun at her head at the height of an argument between the two. Only weeks before, Shellie Zimmerman told authorities Zimmerman had threatened her and her father with a gun during yet another domestic dispute.

A former self-appointed neighborhood watch commander, Zimmerman shot Martin after ignoring a dispatcher's advice to cease with following the teen who he later admitted he thought looked suspicious because he was wearing a hoodies.
