At 10:30 p.m. ET the Denver Nuggets (4-6) will host the Chicago Bulls (6-3) at the Pepsi Center in Colorado, where three of their four wins have been achieved. The game is the second part of an NBA double-header on TNT, and can be live streamed here. Bulls fans can listen to the game on ESPN 1000, while Nuggets fans can hear the action on 93.7 Mile High Sports.
The Bulls have shaken off a slow start lately, but will have to face the speedy Nuggets in Denver's thin air without perimeter stopper Jimmy Butler, who is nursing a toe injury.
"Jimmy is someone we're definitely going to miss, especially with his energy and defense," said point guard Derrick Rose. "He's been knocking down shots. But the way our team is, if one guy goes down, the other guy has to step up and do a great job. That's Mike Dunleavy, Kirk (Hinrich) or myself if I'm playing the two. We've just got to fill in for him."
Rose himself has struggled to return to his elite form, posting averages this season of 15 points and 4.5 assists. In his last game against the Charlotte Bobcats, he was 4-of-13 from the field, although Chicago escaped with a win.
"It was a tough, hard-fought game and I liked that Derrick showed a lot of perseverance," head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "He had timely buckets late and made some big buckets for us. That was huge. Each game he has gotten better and better. I am good with where he is."
The Nuggets are looking to avoid a third straight loss, but containing Ty Lawson on the Pepsi Center court will not be easy. He is leading the Nuggets with 22 points per game as well as 8.6 assists.
