'Gran Turismo Sport" New Trailer Shows The Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo, Will Enter Limited Production [VIDEO]

"Gran Turismo Sport" will be the first game from the legendary racing franchise to be released for the PlayStation 4. While the game has been delayed numerous times, Polyphony digital unveiled a handful of screenshots and gameplay video that showcases a new car.

Gematsu reports that the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo which will be unveiled at the 87th Geneva Motor Show that begins on March 9 will be exclusively available for "Gran Turismo Sport." The car is the newest addition to the Vision Gran Turismo Project which is a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and different brands of car manufacturers around the world.

The project began as a celebration of Gran Turismo's 15th anniversary. Its goal is to let various car makers design their own rendition of an ideal "Gran Turismo Sport" car. The project has now developed 20 new concept cars with more on the way.

Dualshockers reports that the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo is a collaboration between F1 racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi, Pininfarina and HWA AG. The trailer shows various snippets that chronicle the career of Fittipaldi with alternating shots of the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo in action.

The Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo is an ultra light, all carbon supercar that combines the visions of Fittipaldi and Pinnifarina. The supercar also fulfills Fittipaldi's vision to create a car with a fierce performance for drivers of all skill levels. It will enter a limited production but gamers will have a chance to drive the supercar in "Gran Turismo Sport."

Meanwhile the new trailer for "Gran Turismo Sport" highlights the game's jaw-dropping graphics that looks very life-like. "Gran Turismo" creator Kazunori Yamauchi emphasizes the new graphics engine of "Gran Turismo Sport" which will get a boost from the PS4 Pro. According to PlayStation's blog, the PS4 Pro allows "Gran Turismo Sport" to show a wide range of colors to accurately depict the colors of certain cars which is not possible in the past.

"Gran Turismo Sport" will be released on an unspecified date on 2017. Stay tuned for more details.
