Carmelo Anthony New York Knicks Losing Streak: “It’s Frustrating, Messed Up Feeling” [VIDEO]

After a strong 2012-13 season which saw them getting the second seed in the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks are back to their losing ways with five straight losses the latest of which was a 110-90 rout at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.

Following the latest loss, Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony aired his disappointment saying it looked as if the team was not even trying. "I am disappointed too in all of our effort. We are just not getting it done. It ain't nothing that Coach Woodson is doing. It ain't got nothing to do with X's and O's out there on the basketball court. We are not getting it done from an effort standpoint. It's like we are not even trying right now," he told ESPN.com.

"It's frustrating. Messed up feeling. Nasty feeling. I really am kind of at a loss for words right now," he added.

The Knicks have three wins against six losses, and have not won in New York since winning their first game of the season against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Knicks have lost to Minnesota, Charlotte, San Antonio, Houston and Atlanta at the Madison Square Garden. And the losses have been ugly. Against the Wolves, the Knicks gave up 40 points in the first quarter alone. They also trailed by as much as 37 against the Spurs.

In the game against the Hawks, the Knicks gave up three layups and a dunk in the fourth quarter allowing Atlanta to break the game wide open.

Woodson said he may make more changes in his line-up, which is missing its defensive anchor Tyson Chandler who is out with a fractured leg.
