Zab Judah Next Fight: Danny Garcia Rematch If 'Super' Judah Beats Paulie Malignaggi? [VIDEO]

The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be electric on December 7th when borough-bred pugilists Zab Judah and Paulie Malignaggi square off in a fight that could end the career of the loser.

The last time fight fans saw Judah, he gave a spirited effort at Barclays against Danny Garcia, dropping a unanimous decision but showcasing high-level hand speed and newfound grit.

Malignaggi is also coming off a loss, to Adrien Broner in "The Problem's" welterweight debut. While Malignaggi's lack of power doomed him he overwhelmed Broner at times with activity, and landed at a much higher rate.

Now, these two fighters who used to be luminaries in the sport are each trying to follow the path of Miguel Cotto, who looked shot in two losses before decimating Delvin Rodriguez and reinserting himself into the pay-per-view conversation.

Zab's father and trainer Yoel Judah believes Judah is going to impress against Malignaggi.

"It is going to be a good fight for as long as it lasts. Zab is in tremendous shape. He has a lot of confidence, he has his old Pops back in the corner," Yoel said. "I shut it down. Paulie already know what it gonna be. Listen man we are going to do what we gotta do in this fight. We ain't taking no prisoners."

Yoel continued, "You are going to see the old Zab from like 10 years. The old Zab who threw punches in bunches with all the slick movement. You're going to see the whole package."

Because Judah poses the threat of a knockout more than Malignaggi, a win for "Super" Judah could put him back in the picture for big fights. If he scores a win, Judah will be eyeing a rematch with Garcia. When asked by Hustleboss.com what Golden Boy should do with Garcia in the wake of his upset of Lucas Matthysse, Judah grinned and replied, "One thing they should do is get him ready for a rematch with Zab Judah.
