"It feels like a power play. It didn't feel like much of a power play last year," Richards said per NHL.com. "We practice it every day, everybody is communicating in practice. Everybody has a voice on it."

Richards leads the Rangers in points (15) and goals (six) while he's tied with Derek Stepan with nine assists. Stepan has four goals to go with his nine helpers to rank second in the team in scoring with 13 points with four of his goals and eight of his points coming in the last seven games. Carl Hagelin (4-4-8) enters play with a five-game point streak on four goals and three assists.

Jaromir Jagr picked up his 1,701st career points with a goal and an assist, Travis Zajac notched the 100th goal of his career, and Martin Brodeur recorded his 123rd career shutout while only facing 15 shots when the Devils topped the Predators 5-0 on Sunday.

"With [Patrik] Elias out of the lineup and some of the people who left here, we had a hole for somebody like [Jagr], and he's come in and filled that," coach Peter DeBoer told NHL.com.

Jagr, 41, leads the Devils with 13 points off of five tallies and eight helpers while Marek Zidlicky has two goals and nine assists for 11 points. Brodeur improved to 4-3-2 on the season with the win to go along with a 2.09 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage. Corey Schneider shutout the Rangers the last time these teams met in October, and is 1-4-3 with a 2.09 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

Henrik Lundqvist has been the backbone for the Rangers turning around their early season woes, and is 6-6-0 with a 2.47 GAA and a .916 save percentage.

Two division rivals will mix it up when the Rangers and the Devils take the ice at Madison Square Garden in New York tonight.
