Johnny Manziel Rumors: QB Spotted Out, But Not Drinking [VIDEO]

Perhaps Johnny Manziel is serious about sobering up and making an NFL comeback after all.

The former Heisman Trophy winner was spotted out at a familiar place -- a club -- but he apparently wasn't drinking. The Browns cut Manziel back in March due to his wayward ways and partyboy lifestyle.

Manziel was spotted leaving The Nice Guy club in West Hollywood this past weekend, but he wasn't drinking and was later seen driving his friends home, according to TMZ Sports.

The ex-quarterback isn't the only one clamoring for a return to the gridiron as he hyped up his former Cleveland teammate Josh Gordon, who has been caught violating the NFL's substance abuse party.

Manziel, 23, has had a lot of issues refraining form the party scene and was also recently indicted by a Dallas jury for the incident with Crowley, in which he allegedly hit her so hard that she lost the hearing in her left ear temporarily.

The former quarterback was also recently sued for allegedly causing $32,000 worth of damage to a home he and his party friends rented for a two-day alcohol and drug-fueled binge in Los Angeles. On top of his incidents, Manziel has been involved in at least two vehicular accidents as well this offseason.

Manziel has been adamant that he plans on staying sober to pursue a return to the NFL.

It looks like Manziel might once again be Johnny Football if he stays on the straight and narrow.
