At 7:30 p.m. E.T. tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Nets (1-2) will host the winless Utah Jazz (0-3) in a game that can be live streamed here. Jazz fans can hear their team's radio broadcast on 1280 The Zone, while Nets fans can hear the game on 101.9 WFAN FM.

The new-look Nets, chock full of veterans in the starting lineup and the bench were shocked by the Orlando Magic, who spanked them by more than 20 points. That loss, coupled with their opening defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has erased the glow of a big win over the Miami Heat.

"The win against Miami doesn't mean a thing when you come here and lay an egg, which is what we did," said point guard Deron Williams. "We had to be ready to match their intensity and we weren't. They looked like they wanted it more and that is unacceptable."

The game was Jason Kidd's first on the sideline in the regular season as head coach; he said he is treating the drubbing as an opportunity to learn. "You can only learn from it," Kidd said. "Success, or if things don't go well, you can only learn from it."

The Jazz haven't gotten in the win column yet, but swingman Gordon Hayward, about whom contract rumors are swirling, believes his team is close to the correct path and prepared to start winning games. "We got to realize it's a long season," Hayward said. "We're right there, we just have to figure out whatever it is that will help us push over that edge and get the 'W.'"

"We got to get better. We're a young group. We should be in it, we should have more energy," coach Tyrone Corbin said. "We'll keep working, and hopefully we'll continue to get better." That might be tough to do if the Nets and their vets come to ball.
