As the NFL investigates the alleged bullying that pushed Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin to have a breakdown that ended in him leaving the team, Richie Incognito has become the face of the scandal.

According to new reports, Incognito's harassment included racial taunts, the most shocking of which was his referring to Martin as a "half n---er." In a voicemail transcribed by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Twitter, Incognito directly insulted Martin and threatened his family.

"Hey, wassup, you half n----- piece of (expletive)...," Incognito said. He continued on, saying he wanted to release his body waste into Martin's mouth. "I saw you on Twitter, you been training ten weeks. (I want to) (expletive) in your (expl) mouth...."

He didn't stop there either, proceeding to tell Martin he'd kill him because he was a rookie as well as physically assault Martin's mother.

When initially named as the "ringleader" of the bullying, Incognito went on the offensive, attacking Schefter's integrity.

"@espn shame on you for attaching my name to false speculation. I won't be holding my breathe for an apology," he tweeted at Schefter. While the issue of this harassment was never brought to the team or NFL officially, sources say Martin remained quiet out of fear that Incognito would want retribution.

Rumors that Incognito's father has taken to a Dolphins message board to proclaim Incognito's innocence and blast the Dolphins for taking Martin's side add another bizarre twist to the saga. In a message Deadspin.com reported could be from Incognito's dad, the user in question wished death by AIDS upon Dolphins coach Joe Philbin and Miami general manager Jeff Ireland.

He went on to deride Martin and Dolphins center Mike Pouncey as drug addicts, and insinuated Martin was a mentally unstable person who had attempted suicide three times. In addition, the poster seemed to acknowledge Martin was victimized by racist slurs, and justified it by referring to rap music in which the "n-word" is frequently used.
