Sasha Banks WWE Rumors: 'The Boss' Wants To Be On 'SmackDown' [VIDEO]

"The Boss" wants to be on the Blue Brand.

The WWE revealed last week that there will be a brand extension as the Superstars will once again be divided into "RAW" and "SmackDown" rosters. Sasha Banks has left little doubt about which show she wants to represent.

It appears Banks could be the face of 'SmackDown" for the women's division if she has it her way.

"When I heard the news, I was super excited because that's what I grew up watching," Banks told WWE.com in a video about the split. "I loved watching 'SmackDown' because all of my favorites were there. Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle [and] Rey Mysterio, all of my favorites were there."

Banks then said she likes "SmackDown" better than "RAW" and hopes to end up there when the split occurs in July.

"To know that there's a possibility that I can be on either 'RAW' or 'SmackDown' -- which I'm kinda leaning more toward 'SmackDown' because that was my favorite -- I think it's gonna be awesome for the WWE and the WWE Universe because it's just gonna be better. I really can't wait for July to come around, so fingers crossed, 'SmackDown.'"

Hopefully once the draft comes, the WWE will know how to properly utilize the former NXT Women's Champion. Banks was a great performer in NXT and helped steal the show with Charlotte and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 32, but since then she's been placed on the backburner.

There were reports "The Boss" was injured, but even before that she wasn't being used property.

Banks has the look, character and in-ring talent to be the next face of the division, whether it be on 'RAW' or 'SmackDown.' Banks was held off screen prior to the injury and had to downplay her frustration.

WWE Hall of Famers have even taken notice as Bret Hart, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and, most recently, Trish Stratus, have heaped praise on Banks.

"Sasha, to me, is a star," Stratus told Sports Illustrated. "There are a lot of comparisons, but I don't think we are that similar, actually, at all. But she's the star of the division, and she's the one. She really knows her character, she owns her character, and she's so solid in the ring."

Banks can be the face of "SmackDown" if the WWE lets it happen.
