Tim Tebow Denver Broncos Rumors: QB Not Only Former Player Hoping For Return To Denver [POLL, VIDEO]

In Tim Tebow's new book, he'll delve into how hard it was to leave Denver. It seems he's not alone in wanting a return to the Broncos.

The former quarterback had a tremendous run with the Broncos, which included a shocking overtime Wild Card playoff victory over the Steelers in 2012.

He was then traded to the Jets where he barely got any playing time before having short stints with the Patriots and Eagles, both of which cut him prior to the season starting.

Tebow isn't the only former Broncos player who misses Denver.

Knowshon Moreno recently revealed he's healthy and looking for a return to the NFL. The 28-year-old running back hasn't played since 2014 due to an ACL injury, but he's hoping to return to the league, and noted he wants to make a comeback to his old team in the Broncos.

"I still have a lot in the tank," Moreno told TMZ Sports. "Probably too much in the tank. I have to let it out."

Moreno spent five seasons with Denver, rushing for 3,468 yards on 846 attempts while reaching the end zone 26 times. In his last season on the gridiron with the Dolphins, he rushed for 148 yards on 31 carries with one touchdown.

The Broncos may not take a chance on him, but the running back is letting it be known he wants to return.

In Tebow's new book, "Shaken: Discovering Your Identity in the Midst of Life's Storms," the quarterback reportedly discusses his heartbreak over leaving Denver, so much like Moreno, the former Heisman Trophy winner likely wouldn't mind returning as well.

The former quarterback would like to play anywhere at this point after getting unceremoniously cut from the Eagles in September.

While the jury is out on whether or not Moreno will be welcomed back with open arms, an online petition at Change.org shows that many Broncos fans want Tebow back in the fold.

"Coach Gary Kubiak's offense would thrive with Tebow under center," the petition reads. "He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We dont need a subpar throwaway from some other team, we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this! #TebowTime"

With Mark Sanchez as the incumbent starter and the inexperienced Paxton Lynch right behind him, Tebow Time may not be a bad idea.
