Johnny Manziel News & Rumors: Former QB Offered A Job ... Outside Of The NFL [PHOTO, VIDEO]

Johnny Manziel was unceremoniously dumped by the Browns amid professional and personal turmoil, but another gig could be on the horizon for the wayward quarterback ... just not in football.

Amid problems with alcohol during the regular season and a domestic violence case brought against him by his ex-girlfriend, model Colleen Crowley, the Browns dumped Johnny Manziel in March. They now have five signal callers in the mix to replace the former Heisman Trophy winner going forward.

With Manziel on the open market and his partying ways continuing, there haven't been any teams willing enough to take a risk by signing the controversial quarterback. Even Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who has been historically enamored with Manziel, hasn't made a play for him and likely won't.

Though Manziel likely won't get picked up by another football team until he straightens out his life, he did receive one offer recently.

Jason Strauss, a nightclub and restaurant ambassador, is trying to convince Johnny Football to be a VIP host, something which could be a dangerous proposition given his sordid background:

Manziel has had plenty of trouble staying away from the party scene. His troubling ways caused two agents to dump him this offseason.

Last month, Manziel and his pals allegedly caused about $32,000 of damage to a home they rented in Los Angeles. He was also seen "wasted and chain smoking" at Coachella.

Manziel vowed to clean up his act in a public statement, but hasn't shown much of a willingness to do so.

"I'm hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016," Manziel said in his statement, according to USA Today Sports. "I also continue to be thankful to those who really know me and support me."

Manziel was recently indicted by a Dallas jury for his alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend after Crowley claimed that Manziel hit her so hard in a Jan. 29 incident that she temporarily lost hearing in her left ear. Manziel was charged with misdemeanor assault with bodily injury and a judge ordered him to stay away from Crowley.

While it's doubtful another team will go for Manziel, he at least has one offer on the table.
