Conor McGregor Girlfriend: UFC Fighter, Dee Devlin Flanked By Security After Death Threat [PHOTOS, VIDEO]

Conor McGregor's next fight remains a mystery, but for now he's battling some alleged death threats.

"The Notorious" and his girlfriend, Dee Devlin, were flanked by security when they attended a fashion event in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, after being spooked by the threats. The couple is now being followed round-the-clock by a security team.

"He told people their names were Rocky and Drago and that he'd hired them because of death threats," a source told the Irish Sun about two guards that followed McGregor and Devlin around.

McGregor, 27, is no stranger to dealing with crazed people -- whether it is on social media or elsewhere -- and is apparently taking no chances.

"Conor and Dee arrived around 30 minutes after most of the other red-carpet arrivals and they were accompanied by an entourage," the source told the publication. "He [had] two huge minders with him for the entire evening and although everyone was in great form, they didn't leave his side once."

The Irish UFC star even had security waiting outside of the bathroom for him whenever he had to go throughout the night, but he was said to be in good spirits.

"Conor was really relaxed and in great humor, but the bodyguards didn't let him out of their sight for even a minute," the source said. "Anyone who wanted a picture or a quick word with Conor had to go through the minders."

McGregor has dealt with threats in the past as the UFC alerted the FBI after someone posted a threat to him on social media while wielding an AK-47 earlier this year.

"@TheNotoriousMMA Be careful talking down on neighborhoods, you don't run s--t here except the UFC, and in the hood we use guns not fists this aint Ireland," the Twitter user wrote.

McGregor has been the subject of a lot of buzz recently due to his standoff with Dana White and the UFC. First, the Irishman announced his retirement from the promotion after the UFC president couldn't see eye-to-eye with him when it comes to promoting his since-canceled UFC 200 fight.

After the reigning UFC featherweight champion was taken off of the card, rumors began to circulate that he would fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing bout, something which technically can't happen while he's under contract with UFC. That hasn't stopped McGregor's name from popping up in speculation.

As for Friday's event, McGregor and Devlin seemed to have a lovely time together, despite the beefed up security, according to his girlfriend's Instagram:
