AVALANCHE vs STARS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Dallas

Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Colorado Avalanche (10-1-0, 20 points) and Dallas Stars (5-6-1, 11 points) hit the ice live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The game can be live streamed here. Colorado fans can hear all of the action by tuning into KRWZ-AM 950 while Dallas fans can do the same by tuning to 105.3 The Fan.

This is the second of five meetings between these teams and Colorado picked up a 3-2 win on Oct. 15 in Denver. The Avalanche enter this game on top of the Central Division and hold a one point lead over the second place defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks while Dallas is at the very bottom of the division, nine points behind Colorado.

Colorado enters with the league's best record off of four straight wins and first-year head coach Patrick Roy has praised the depth of his team.

"[It] gives us flexibility," Roy told NHL.com. "We have plenty of options."

Dallas beat Buffalo 4-3 Monday then fell to Montreal 2-1 Tuesday, but head coach Lindy Ruff thinks his team is on the right track for success.

"I think we are getting closer to where we want to be," Ruff said per NHL.com "We've really cut down on the careless plays of late. I want to see us creating more, there were some opportunities to carry the puck over the line where we gave up possession. The last two games, our discipline [was good], our power play looked good, scored a goal. Our penalty kill was strong, our faceoffs are getting better."

The Avalanche have been led by Matt Duchene, who has 13 points off of nine goals and four assists while three guys follow with eight points in Alex Tanguay (three goals, five assists), Gabriel Landeskog (three goals, five assists) and Paul Stastny (two tallies, six helpers).

Dallas' offense has been driven by Tyler Seguin (5-7-12) and Jamie Benn (4-8-12). The team has gotten a boost from returning goaltender Kari Lehtonen, who has played between the pipes for Dallas in four straight games after returning from a lower-body injury and has a 4-2-1 record with a 1.66 goals-against average and a .945 save percentage.

Colorado had an interesting issue with goalie Semyon Varlamov, who spent a night in jail on domestic abuse charges this week but will be the starter when the team plays in Dallas tonight. Varlamov is enjoying a great season with a 7-1-0 record to go along with a 1.76 GAA and a .945 save percentage.

The Stars look to get out of the Central Division cellar while the Avalanche hope to keep on rolling when the teams take the ice tonight at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
