STARS vs BLUES Watch FREE Live Stream Online: Game 3 NHL Playoffs Live Coverage From St. Louis

One of these two teams will march on to a 2-1 series lead when the Stars and Blues take the ice at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis for Game 3 of their Round 2 Stanley Cup playoff series.

Dallas looks to win a pivotal road game to regain the series lead, while St. Louis hopes to hold down home-ice as the series shifts to Scottrade Center for the first time.

Each game in this series has been decided by a goal. The Stars took Game 1 by a 2-1 final, while St. Louis earned a 4-3 victory in an overtime thriller on Sunday in Game 2.

David Backes scored 10:52 into overtime to notch his third goal of the playoffs and second OT marker of the postseason. Patrik Berglund (2), Joel Edmundson (1) and Troy Brouwer (2) each scored in the first period for St. Louis, which was blanked through the second and third periods.

Alex Goligosky opened up the scoring with his third goal of the playoffs for the Stars, while Mattias Janmark (1) and Jamie Benn (5) each scored in the third period to erase a 3-1 deficit and force overtime.

Benn paces Dallas in goals as well as assists (7) and points (12) in the playoffs. Vladimir Tarasenko has a club-best four goals for St. Louis, while Jaden Schwartz paces the team with seven points.

Tyler Seguin is expected to remain sidelined for Dallas.

The Stars goalie situation is muddled as Lindy Ruff wouldn't comment on who is set to man the crease. Kari Lehtonen was pulled from Game 2 after yielding three goals on just five shots and was replaced by Antti NIemi, who made 19 saves before getting beat in overtime.

"We've been going with Lehtonen, so we're going to stay with him," Ruff said Tuesday morning via NHL.com before changing his tune. "I'm not telling you who's starting, so you don't have to ask again."

St. Louis will turn to Brian Elliott, who made 31 saves on 34 shots in Game 2.
