Brie Bella Retirement WWE Rumors: 'Total Divas' Key Reason For WWE Staying Mum About Superstar's Future [VIDEO]

Brie Bella had one final WrestleMania Moment on Sunday, but the WWE has remained mum about her impending retirement.

The "Total Divas" star is calling it a career so that she can start a family with her husband, recently retired WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan (concussions). Despite Bella walking away from the squared circle, the WWE has done little in the way of mentioning it and giving her a proper sendoff.

As it turns out, there is a reason for the lack of acknowledgement. Though Bella posted about her farewell on Instagram, her sister Nikki and Bryan acknowledged it and other Divas have given her farewells, the WWE has refrained because of the reality show she's on.

Bella's exit and retirement will be a focal point of the next "Total Divas" season, as the show will explore the reasons behind her leaving and everyone's reactions to it, according to PWInsider. This explains why there was no official farewell for the former Divas Champion on "Monday Night RAW" this week.

In her last match, Bella led her Total Divas team (Alicia Fox, Paige, Natalya and Eva Marie) over Team B.A.D. & Blonde (Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae, Lana & Emma) at WrestleMania 32 on Sunday. Bella got the win by making Naomi tap out to win the match and was then hoisted by her teammates and her sister, who sported a neck brace after undergoing surgery in January.

Though the WWE has distanced itself from the retirement in favor of "Total Divas," Bella's fellow women's wrestlers have acknowledged her departure on social media, and her sister discussed how sad she was to never share a ring with her again.

"I'm emotional," Nikki said on 'Backstage Fallout' following WrestleMania. "I guess just knowing that I'll probably never ever share the ring with my sister anymore -- that that was our last moment. It couldn't be a match, but at least we had that hug. So it's a very emotional night, I wish that Daniel Bryan was here to share that moment with us and I wish that I could have another night with my sister, but you know what? We're gonna have another mama Bella in the house, so I'm proud that I could even be here."

Bella won't take part in the revamped women's division, which includes a new championship, but it's certainly strange that the WWE is glossing over her departure just because of "Total Divas."
