The WWE will put on WrestleMania 32 without matches featuring John Cena and Nikki Bella, but that doesn't mean the company's power couple doesn't have plans for the "Show of Shows."
Cena has been teasing for months a possible appearance at the biggest event of the year, but he has played coy with what that all entails. The "Cenation" leader has competed at 12 consecutive editions of the WWE's marquee event, but doesn't have a match scheduled for AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has trolled fans about a possible appearance on social media as of late and in his latest interview, he once again was tight-lipped about his plans for Sunday.
"You know what, I would like to keep that to the folks that enjoy WrestleMania 32," Cena told 'Fox 411.' "So, I'm gonna tell you how to check my involvement. It's going on Sunday at AT&T Stadium and people can actually subscribe to the WWE Network to watch it. And if you are a first time subscriber, you can watch it for free. So you're going to have to find out, will I make an impact or not? The event itself will be absolutely spectacular."
Cena has been sidelined since January due to shoulder surgery, but he was once again coy about his recovery timetable.
"I don't know [how I'm doing]," Cena said, adding that he wasn't supposed to be able to move his shoulder and he can now.
He also said after over 400 hours of physical therapy, he feels "pretty darn good," and his original nine-month recovery diagnosis will be reevaluated.
It's possible Cena gets involved in one of the marquee matches at the event to build for a new program when he returns.
As for Bella, it was reported that she is unlikely to ever make a full-time comeback in the WWE ring, but she's remained optimistic. The longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history also won't know about her future until at least July, but she headed to Dallas for WrestleMania weekend as a non-competitor.
While Bella is a long shot to get involved, Cena has continued to tease a potential role, though he could be building himself up just to hype the WWE Network.
