Brock Lesnar made his return to "SmackDown" at Tuesday's tapings in Boston, which are set to air this Thursday night.
With the road to WrestleMania 32 in full swing, here are five takeaways from the event, followed by the results and the most recent updated card for the "Show of Shows" on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
1) Beast Of Burden
Lesnar returned to "SmackDown" with his mouthpiece Paul Heyman and after they called out Dean Ambrose, they received The Wyatt Family instead. This seems to serve as proof that big things await Bray Wyatt and his brood after WrestleMania. Ambrose eventually came out and the WrestleMania opponents teamed up to take out the Wyatts before turning their attention to each other. Lesnar built momentum for his clash with Ambrose by hitting him with an F-5 to end "SmackDown."
2) Rocky Reigns
In an episode that will air just 10 nights before his WrestleMania clash with Triple H, Roman Reigns couldn't even defeat Bubba Ray Dudley cleanly. The leader of the Roman Empire took Dudley on in a singles bout, but it ended in double countout. The match was said to be a very physical brawl leading to the unclean finish. Reigns, however, did take out both Dudley Boyz to end the segment.
3) Ryding High
Zack Ryder was unlikely to even get a spot at WrestleMania this year, but after the latest rampant injury bug claimed Neville, the "Long Island Iced-Z" host was thrust into a seven-man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship at the "Show of Shows." All seven Superstars got involved in a brawl after a tag match pitting Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler against The Miz and Kevin Owens, but it was a big night for Ryder, who stood tall after hitting KO with the Rough Ryder.
4) Dueling Dragons?
There was a backstage segment with United States Champion Kalisto and his tag team partner Sin Cara, who will be going after the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match. It will be interesting to see if the WWE opts to put the title on Sin Cara, leading to a friendly rivalry between the two tag team partners, which could then turn very ugly.
5) Banks Statement
Sasha Banks got a huge non-title win over Divas Champion Charlotte to kick-off the show with Becky Lynch on commentary. "The Boss" countered the champion's Figure-Eight with a roll up for the win. "The Lass Kicker" then took both ladies out, but Banks recovered first and nailed Charlotte with the Backstabber. This could be a sign Banks will go over at WrestleMania.
