Manny Pacquiao Net Worth: Nike Drops Manny, But Don't Expect Him To Go Broke [VIDEO]

Calling his anti-gay comments "abhorrent," Nike has decided to cut ties with boxer Manny Pacquiao. But don't expect the 37-year-old to go broke over it.

Thanks to his $125 million payday for his fight against Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao was the second-highest paid celebrity of 2015, according to Forbes (Mayweather was No. 1).

His endorsements accounted for "only" $12 million of his total earnings last year, so while Nike dropping him is a financial blow, it's more of a hit to his image.

That said, gay marriage is actually banned in the Philippines -- where Pacquiao resides and is running for a Senate seat -- due to its high concentration of traditional Catholics.

Pacquiao's next, and last, big payday will come April 9 when he fights Timothy Bradley before retiring. Thus far, Bradley nor his camp have commented on Pacquiao's remarks.

So while Pacquiao joins an infamous list of athletes cut by Nike -- which includes Lance Armstrong, Adrian Peterson, Michael Vick, Ray Rice and Oscar Pistorius -- don't expect the father of five to have trouble feeding his family anytime soon.
