Tonight at 7:30 p.m., the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes (5-0, 1-0) will look to avoid the pitfalls of an obvious "trap game" tonight when they hit the road and take on the North Carolina Tar Heels (1-4, 0-2) at Kenan Stadium. The ACC clash can be live streamed free here; Hurricanes fans can listen to the game on 560 WQAM, while Tar Heels fans can check in on the home team on 1110 WBT.

Miami is nearing a return to their golden era, checking in this week in the national top 10 for the first time since 2009. Their head coach Al Golden refuses to rest on his laurels now, though, with much work to be done restoring glory to the storied program.

"At the end of the season we'll count them up and see where we're at," Golden said. "We're 0-0 going into this game. All that matters right now is going to Chapel Hill, being a mature team, having poise, playing with pose, communicating, executing. The rest of it doesn't really matter."

In their last game, the 'Canes went down 17-7 against Georgia Tech before rallying for a wild 45-30 win. After that game, Golden said, "You really don't have any leadership until you have a bead of sweat and the crap hits the fan. And that's what happened. I think we learned a lot about our team. We had great leadership through that, we had great poise, but it did look bleak."

He would like a more dominant effort this go-round, though, as a convincing win will help the Hurricanes in the polls going forward. The Tar Heels represent an opportunity for the Miami offense to roll; UNC is giving up 436 yards per game to opposing offenses, worst in the ACC.

Head coach Larry Fedora thinks there's still time for the Heels to make something of the season, though.

"There is no doubt in my mind that it is and it starts today, or yesterday or whenever you want it to start, it starts now. It's just about us getting better," he said. A win over a top-10 team would do wonders.
