At 8:00 p.m. at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, the undefeated Blues (4-0-0, 8 points) will host the also-unbeaten San Jose Sharks (5-0-0, 10 points) in an early season big-time clash. Live stream the battle of undefeated teams here; Sharks fans can hear the game on KFOX 98.5 while Blues fans can listen in on 1120 KMOX.

Both teams are entering this clash with red-hot offenses; San Jose is average 4.8 goals per game, while St. Louis is clocking in at 4.75 a night. Blues center David Backes is a big reason for the team's blazing beginning, registering six points through the teams early slate.

"It's clicking right now, but it's only four games," Backes said. "Four good games, but it's only getting tougher from here now." Backes and wingers Alex Steen and T.J. Oshie have been a wrecking crew, with Oshie trailing just Sidney Crosby for the NHL points lead with eight.

Meanwhile in San Jose, the Sharks have continued riding 19-year-old rookie Tomas Hertl's stunning start. He scored his NHL-best seventh goal of the season on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators, but sprained his ankle in the victory. "He's a little bit sore but I think he'll be fine tomorrow," coach Todd McLellan said. Hertl is expected to be on the ice for the big tilt with St. Louis.

After outscoring their opponents by a combined 16 goals in the first four games, Saturday against Ottawa provided a much-needed test. "We knew it was going to be the same way every night," said center Patrick Marleau. "It was going to be ups and downs, and tonight was a good challenge. We looked at it as a challenge."

The Sharks can expect more difficulty against the Blues, with goalie Jaroslav Halak posting a 1.75 goals against average in the team's first four games. San Jose goalie Antti Niemi has been even better, with a 1.40 goals against average in five games. Neither goalkeeper has faced more than 30 shots in any game.
