LeSean McCoy, Knowshon Moreno Feud [UPDATE]: 'Shady' Stands By Tweet [PHOTO], 'Said What I Meant' [VIDEO]

LeSean McCoy wasn't afraid to tweet what he was feeling, and when he was called on it, he didn't back down either. The Philadelphia Eagles running back tweeted 'Knowshon Sucks' after ESPN analyst Skip Bayless was singing the praises of Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno, and when asked about it on Wednesday, McCoy stood by his statements.

"I don't want to talk about the past," McCoy said, via CSNPhilly.com when asked about the tweet. "It is what it is. What I said is what I meant."

When asked if he had any regrets, McCoy simply said, "No."

McCoy has put up better rushing numbers than Moreno so far, leading the league in rushing yards with 514 on 98 carries compared to Moreno's 331 yards on 65 attempts, but Moreno's four touchdowns are a notch above McCoy's three.

The two had an exchange on Twitter after McCoy's original tweet, but not much has happened between the two since:

It's uncertain why McCoy lashed out at Moreno via Twitter on Sunday, but some of the reasons could be hostility over the dominant 52-20 victory that the Broncos (5-0) slapped on the Eagles (2-3) in Week 4. Moreno had a better game than McCoy on that afternoon as he rushed for 78 yards and a score while McCoy rushed for 73 and didn't reach the end zone.

Another reason could be that McCoy was drafted 41 spots behind Moreno in the 2009 NFL Draft. Moreno was picked 12th overall by the Broncos that year while Shady was selected with the 53rd overall pick by the Eagles.

McCoy and the Eagles will have to turn their attention to another running back Sunday in Week 6 when Doug Martin and the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) host Philadelphia at Raymond James Field. While there may be some speculation that McCoy might hate all running backs not donning an Eagles uniform, he helped put that thought to bed.

"I just want to say I think Doug Martin is a heck of a running back," McCoy said to open his press conference Wednesday, according to CBS Sports.

When asked if he thought Martin sucked too, McCoy responded, "Nah. He's one of the better running backs for sure," per CBS Sports.

Martin has rushed for 342 yards on 100 attempts through four games this season with a touchdown. While McCoy ranks first overall in rushing yards, Martin is ninth on the list, while Moreno is 10th.

It's unknown what sparked McCoy's negativity towards Moreno, but the Eagles running back isn't backing down from his stance.
