Adrien Broner Next Fight: Marcos Maidana To Make 'Problem' Pay For 'Big Mouth'? [VIDEO]

Adrien Broner is constantly in headlines for saying and doing outlandish things. When he enters the ring in December to take on Argentine power puncher Marcos Maidana, those things will be fresh in Maidana's mind.

"Broner has a big mouth and he's never faced a fighter like me," Maidana said. "He's definitely going to pay for it." In an interview with Hustleboss.com, Maidana shed a little light on his Las Vegas encounter with Broner.

"It was just an exchange of words, some pushing and shoving but nothing major. It's no big deal." Perhaps the fight itself was no big deal, but Maidana's been far more vocal than usual preceding this bout. He's gone on record saying he actively dislikes "The Problem."

"Chino" Maidana was seen telling reporters "F-k Broner, F-k Broner," recently. He went on to say, "I have never gone up against someone like Broner, who talks so bad about his opponents," Maidana said. "That is why you see me more animated than I usually am. Beating Broner will mean more to me than a lot of my other fights. It is a very important fight."

The intense hatred began when Broner fought Eloy Perez in 2012, and Maidana said Broner carried himself with an unacceptable attitude. "He was so disrespectful to Eloy and Eloy's family," Chino said. "At the time I say 'what kind of person would do that to Eloy's family?' His personality, I don't think anyone really likes what he thinks or what he says."

Broner also thinks he's become a better boxer with trainer Robert Garcia, and working on his jab will be the key to toppling the undefeated Broner. "The jab is going to be very important in this fight. It is a key punch to set up other punches throughout the fight. Robert Garcia has really helped me develop it."
