New York has won three straight games and comes in on the back of a 30-8 drubbing of Tenessee at home last Sunday, while Dallas has dropped two of its last three games, including a 28-7 loss at the hands of Green Bay in Week 14.
At 8-5, the Jets curently hold the final wild-card spot in the AFC, while the Chiefs (8-5) are the fifth seed and the Steelers (8-5) are still in the mix. Though the Cowboys are 4-9, they're still alive in the mediocre NFC East, where all three other teams are 6-7.

What To Know
--In the quarterback battle, Ryan Fitzpatrick takes the reins to the offense for the Jets, while Matt Cassel will be under center for the Cowboys. Fitzpatrick, whom New York may re-sign, is 267-for-445 for 3,129 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 intercpetions this season. Cassel, meanwhile, is 116 of 196 for 1,239 yards with five scores and six picks. There were rumors Kellen Moore may start tonight.
--The Cowboys have had their fair share of struggles this season, and they go up against a Jets defense that has allowed a league-low 78.9 rushing yards per game. Mo Wilkerson had three sacks last week, giving him a career-high 12.
--Dallas tight end Jason Witten leads the team with 65 catches and 594 yards. New York receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker have tied an NFL record by catching touchdown passes in the same game seven times this season.
