Manny Pacquiao Next Fight News: Boxing Icon Decides To Keep The World Waiting [VIDEO]

Though a previous report did mention Timothy Bradley Jr. as Manny Pacquiao’s possible opponent, apparently such is not yet a done deal.

Earlier this month, a report from the Mirror claimed that a rubber match between the Filipino boxing icon and “Desert Storm” was imminent. Based on latest developments however, it seems that the politics-bound Pacquiao has not officially made Bradley his final dance partner.

And so the world is left waiting yet again and an official announcement was eagerly awaited Saturday. But according to the LA Times, Pacquiao is still not ready make his final decision yet which could indicate that his final opponent may be known by early 2016 as we had posted last month.

Bradley was the leading candidate along with Terence Crawford and Amir Khan to be Pacquiao’s final opponent.

Believing that he is likely to be shunned again, Khan and company have gone forward to plan an equally interesting fight against Kell Brook instead. Crawford has plans of his own just in case he doesn’t gets the call while Bradley had recently hinted that he preferred to fight Miguel Cotto instead of fighting Pacquiao for a third time.

Crawford is unfazed of possibly being passed up by Pacquiao with his came already looking at alternative opponents. The list reportedly includes Viktor Postol, Ruslan Provodnikov and Lucas Matthysse according to Boxingscene.com.

With regards to Bradley, a separate report from Boxingscene.com bares that “Desert Storm” finds a fight with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto as more dangerous and competitive one to consider.

Summing it all up, it seems that the top candidates for Pacquiao are ready for the worst possible scenario in case any of them get shunned.

Right now it seems to be a toss-up between Bradley and Crawford with Khan (seemingly) decided to go head-on with fellow British boxer, Kell Brook at the Wembley Stadium in 2016 according to the Telegraph.
